FRENCH OAK GRADE
What makes French Oak truly unique is its extraordinary grain patterns and rich color variations. From golden browns to warm honey tones, each plank features subtle, yet striking variations that add character and charm. The grain can range from tight and refined to larger, more pronounced patterns, making French Oak versatile enough to suit both modern and traditional aesthetics.
Subtle knots, cracks, and wormholes narrate the tree's growth journey through the French forest.

Textures
Our signature texture option unfolds a texture reminiscent of a century aged floor. Intentionally crafted with overwood, slight board height variance.
Sanded for a smooth surface.
Each board is scraped by hand. This is nostalgic of days be gone when boards centuries ago were scraped by hand to smooth and even board height.
Finishes
Urethane
Known for its durability, longevity, and low maintenance. It works by creating a protective barrier over the wood floor.
Oils
An oil finish protects the wood by sealing and strengthening each fiber of the wood. So, when you’re walking on hardwood floors with an oil finish, you’re walking on the hardwood itself. Higher maintenance than a urethane but tends to have a richer depth of color and more authentic aesthetic.
